Job Description Summary
Support and promote the sale of Transamerica products through retirement, estate, and wealth planning strategies. Act as a consultant and liaison to the sales force, providing answers and closing sales opportunities. Mentor and train staff members.
Responsibilities
- Execute the strategy and goals outlined by the Vice President of Advanced Markets.
- Communicate financial concepts to promote product sales via various channels.
- Respond to calls and emails from the field.
- Identify opportunities for departmental improvement and ensure information accuracy.
- Oversee and complete assigned duties.
- Identify sales opportunities and lead support projects.
- Develop and deliver seminars and presentations nationwide.
- Serve as a liaison to sales, operations, marketing, and external partners.
- Maintain relationships with the assigned unit.
- Lead the development of sales, marketing, and training materials.
- Coordinate training for producers and staff on financial topics and products.
- Manage projects and coordinate with staff to complete them.
- Set an example in conduct, performance, and commitment, assisting management as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses.
- One or more of the following: JD, CFP, CLU, ChFC, CPA.
- Seven years of experience in retirement, estate, and wealth transfer planning.
- In-depth knowledge of variable annuities, mutual funds, life insurance, and retirement plans.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate tax degree such as LLM, MBT, or MST.
- FINRA Series 63 license.
- FINRA Series 7 to be completed within 6 months.
Working Conditions
- Remote environment.
- Frequent travel (up to 40%).
Compensation
The salary ranges from $126,000 to $167,000 annually, with potential for a 20% annual bonus and sales incentives. Actual pay depends on qualifications, experience, location, and operational needs.
