BBVA SA has embarked on a growth plan to increase its Corporate and Investment Banking (“CIB”) business in its non-EU geographies including the US. Therefore, the Regulation Desk aims to strengthen its coverage of regulation management in the non-EU countries in which BBVA has presence. The relevance of this in the US is the growth of CIB businesses and the vastness and complexity of US regulations. This has driven the need for a local representative for the CIB Regulation Desk.

The US CIB Regulation Desk role will be responsible for monitoring development of US financial regulations for impact on BBVA. She/he will have to assess and provide a view on:

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $210,000 to $250,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
