Class Action Litigation Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Class Action Paralegal to join a Midsized Law Firm located in the Chicago Loop! This is a full time, permanent position, 40-hour work week, hybrid schedule, full benefits, and paying between $70,000-$80,000

Skills required and Job Duties include the following:

• At minimum 4+ years of Class Action litigation experience
• Must know how to manage cases from inception through trial
• Must have experience with creating table of contents and table of authorities
• Must have extensive electronic filing experience with the state and federal courts
• Review and summarize medical records and prepare medical chronologies
• Extensive experience with drafting, responding, and reviewing discovery requests, discovery responses, document productions, litigation holds, privilege logs, subpoena preparation and follow-up, and the ability to draft basic pleadings including motions to compel, mediation summaries, and initial pleadings
• A 4-year degree and Paralegal Certificate is preferred; but not required
