Patent Litigation Attorney

Trueline is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate to join their client's team in Chicago. Our client is an AmLaw firm and is seeking someone with 1-5 years of substantive experience in patent litigation.

What You'll Do as the Patent Litigation Associate:

- Engage in various aspects of patent litigation, including trial preparation, motion practice, and deposition handling

- Manage discovery processes and contribute to expert report development

- Collaborate with a team of over 600 legal professionals on complex intellectual property matters

- Contribute to the firm's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Must-Haves as the Patent Litigation Associate:

- 2-5 years of patent litigation experience

- Strong organizational and writing skills

- Excellent academic credentials, including an undergraduate science degree

- Admission to relevant state bar(s)

- Passion for excelling in a dynamic law firm environment

Nice-To-Haves as the Patent Litigation Associate:

- Experience with trial proceedings and expert witness preparation

- Familiarity with multiple jurisdictions' patent litigation procedures

- Advanced degree in a scientific or technical field
