Our client, a highly successful charter school is looking for strong writers to help high school seniors navigate the college application processes.
Hours: 10:00-6:00pm; onsite fulltime, FIDI location Temp to perm opportunity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1-3 years of office experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- High bar of excellence, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and relentless drive to improve efficiency.
- Ability to establish trust and credibility.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and create a productive environment for seniors to independently drive their college applications forward;
- Develop curated college lists with scholars, based on their academics, preparedness skills, and family's financial background;
- Write high-quality letters of recommendation (LOR), and support faculty to develop equally strong LORs;
- Review financial documents (W-2s, 1040s, and others) and financial aid award letters to strategically advise seniors through the financial aid process;
- Build strong working relationships with college admissions officers;
