Senior Human Resources Lead (part-time, 24 hours per week)

They will coach and support a leadership team, provide strategic HR guidance, and mentor a part-time HR Generalist handling daily HR functions.
This role demands executive presence, discretion, and strong coaching skills to influence senior executives. Responsibilities include attending monthly leadership meetings, presenting HR metrics to the Board, and offering HR consulting to nonprofit portfolio leaders, balancing in-person and virtual engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with leadership on capacity planning, assessing organizational needs, identifying gaps, and developing strategies.
- Lead strategic hiring initiatives, including full-time roles such as Communications, Project Director, and Development positions, as well as external support for high-volume activities.
- Implement professional development programs to strengthen leadership and team performance.
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring clear goals, feedback, and career development.
- Provides recruitment and onboarding support to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement HR policies, training programs, and people development strategies that support long-term growth.
- Address immediate HR operational needs, including policy development, training design, and recruitment support.
- Partner with senior leadership to build and execute a 2025 training and people development strategy.
- Identify and address capacity gaps, ensuring the organization has the support to meet its goals.
- Support leaders in navigating organizational change, growth, and leadership development.
