This position is for a ground-level innovative tech start-up in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time and fully on-site position. This a very fast-paced environment, working non-traditional work week hours, with an all-hands-on-deck team approach. This is not a traditional corporate HR position. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the CEO and other C-Suite Executives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Job Requirements: Immediate Availability

We are looking for candidates who are ready to get started right away and can commit to the role with minimal external commitments. Ideal candidates will:

• Be available to begin work as soon as possible.
• Have no planned travel or significant time off in the upcoming months.
• Be able to dedicate their full attention to the role, with minimal outside commitments that could impact their availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5+ years' experience in Human Resources or People Operations
• Experience working with Technical and Engineering Teams
• Must be able to work on-site and reside in Chicago, IL
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgment
• Proficiency in HRIS Software and MS Office Suite
• Preferred: HR Certification (SHRM)
