Practice Manager Legal Operations

Known for providing high-value legal services to clients locally and globally, the firm serves a broad range of industries, public and private entities, and non-profits.
Our client is seeking a Practice Manager to support one of their top performing departments and will play a key role in driving strategic and operational initiatives, supporting attorney productivity, and partnering with firm leadership to ensure effective business management across legal departments.
Practice Manager Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic advisor and operational partner to department heads and practice group leaders
• Oversee workflow coordination, staffing support, and attorney utilization efforts
• Lead business planning, knowledge management, and intranet content development
• Collaborate across departments including Marketing, Recruiting, HR, Finance, and IT
• Analyze and report on financial performance, budgets, and productivity metrics
• Implement process improvements and support firm-wide initiatives at the practice group level

Practice Manager Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; JD or MBA preferred
• 5+ years' experience in a law firm or professional services environment
• Strong communication, project management, and data analysis skills
• Excel proficiency and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Highly collaborative with a proactive and detail-oriented approach
