As the Lead Structural Engineer, you will:
Lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion
Design and analyze building structures using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic materials
Oversee the preparation of structural drawings and technical specifications
Conduct field investigations and structural assessments of existing buildings
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure integrated project delivery
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Provide on-site supervision and emergency response coordination, including work with NYC DOB Forensic and Construction Safety Units
Ensure code compliance and uphold best practices in structural safety and design
Participate in professional engineering communities and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
Master's degree is a plus
6-12 years of relevant experience in structural design for residential, commercial, or institutional buildings
P.E. or S.E. license (or in progress)
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Familiarity with NYC building codes and DOB procedures is a plus
