Job Title: HR Coordinator - CONTRACT

Location: Chicago, IL – 5 days onsite.

Pay: $22-$25/hr

Addison Group is hiring for our client, a growing organization seeking a motivated and solution-oriented individual to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch and grow a long-term career in Human Resources, with hands-on exposure and mentorship that can lead into more HR Generalist responsibilities over time. It is an on going contract right now, but could go perm in the future.

Job Description:

The HR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the HR team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to learn the ins and outs of human resources within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers
• Source resumes and assist with candidate pipeline development
• Process and track HR invoices and maintain related documentation
• Support pre-employment processes, including background checks and onboarding paperwork
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
• Over time, take on more generalist responsibilities, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 1+ year of administrative, recruiting, or HR support experience a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems a plus
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field
