As an Associate Product Manager, youʼll work closely with our Senior Product Manager to help coordinate and support multiple teams, ensuring that projects stay on track and aligned with our product goals. Youʼll gain hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle—gathering insights, refining requirements, and helping teams deliver great products. Key Responsibilities
- Support product execution – Work with engineering, design, and marketing teams to keep projects on schedule and aligned with business objectives.
- Assist in cross-team collaboration – Help ensure clear communication between teams, facilitating meetings and follow-ups to keep everyone informed and on track.
- Contribute to product strategy – Gather insights from customers, stakeholders, and market research to help shape product decisions.
- Define and refine requirements – Support the Senior Product Manager in creating clear, actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Track and analyze progress – Help monitor product performance, user feedback, and key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Document and communicate updates – Maintain product roadmaps, release notes, and internal documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Some experience in product management, project management, or a related role, with an understanding of what a product manager does.
- Familiarity with web, desktop, and mobile applications—whether from coursework, internships, or prior work experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to keep multiple tasks and stakeholders aligned.
- A problem-solving mindset with a willingness to take initiative and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Chicago, collaborating closely with teams in person.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Experience in a technical role such as an individual contributor or similar.
