About the Position:

We are working with a prestigious Am Law firm that has an immediate need for a trusts and estates attorney (1-4 yrs) to join its Chicago office as an associate. The attorneys in this practice represent individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations with sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management matters.

Responsibilities:

· Assist individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations with estate plan drafting, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, and business succession planning

· Draft complex estate plan and business succession planning documents for high-net-worth individuals as well as complex charitable giving documents

· Counsel clients on income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning

· Assist with probate proceedings for taxable and non-taxable estates

· Process federal gift and estate tax returns

Required Qualifications:

· 1-4 years of estate plan drafting, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, and business succession planning experience

· Strong document drafting and communication skills

· Top academic credentials

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $310,000.
