Corporate Accountant

A leading global investor and private markets firm is looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant as an expansion of staff. The firm has been around since the 1980s and they roughly have $120B AUM. The company offers above market compensation packages with strong benefits and great bonus potential. The accounting group works on a hybrid schedule going into the office three days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Daily journal entries to record transactions as they relate to capital calls
• Assist with all closing processes
• General ledger upkeep and ensure proper postings
• Assist with annual audits
• Support and maintain proper internal controls
• Respond to investor inquiries

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of related experience
• Investment industry experience is a big plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, macros)
• Team player who can collaborate with others
