The Clear Cut is hiring a GIA Graduate Gemologist to help scale our rapidly growing diamond engagement ring business!

The Clear Cut (Techstars '18) is a direct to consumer diamond jewelry company empowering a new generation of consumers. We work directly with our clients to curate a personalized selection of the highest quality natural diamonds at the fairest prices and create one of a kind pieces.

The Clear Cut is the largest digitally native natural diamond country in the United States. We have been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Bloomberg, Business Insider, Fast Company, TechCrunch, The New York Times and many others!

Ideal Candidate

This is a highly entrepreneurial role working alongside The Clear Cut’s CEO, Olivia, and directly with our incredible Chief Product Officer Sarah! You should have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines while ensuring our strict quality controls.

We are an ambitious team with a mission to make buying an engagement ring an exciting, romantic and stress-free experience for couples across the country.

Who You Are

· 2-3+ years experience in diamond / fine jewelry roles

· Sales experience

· GIA GG

· Prior high-growth startup, e-commerce, or strategy background

· You are intellectually curious and aren’t afraid of a challenge

· Willing to learn new skills and dive into projects that you may not have experience with

· You should be eager to lend a hand (sometimes literally) to any member of the team.

· Thrive in an unstructured startup environment

Responsibilities

· Work directly with clients to understand preferences for their dream ring, both virtually and in person.

· Work with suppliers to source diamonds based on client needs

· Manage diamond inventory

· Coordinate diamond pick ups and returns

· Collaborate with the production team to communicate and execute ring design.
