Seeking someone for a lead of a team VP Title. This professional will help lead and drive their deals (from an Controllership - Accounting, Financial, and Valuations perspective). This role will help manage a team working with internal stakeholders/executives, Deal Team, Tax, Legal, and Operations. This team is responsible for Accounting and financial operational management including transaction structuring/execution, investment operations, and accounting of holding entity, financial controls for investment operations, treasury & cash management, systems, valuation and financial reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Drive Financial Accounting Transactions and Asset Portfolio Finance function
- Lead as an valued business partner to the business, providing key deal support in the finance and accounting domain
- Manage activities pre and post-closing from an Accounting/Financial Perspective
- Financial Transaction activities includes what the entity needs after structuring, funding options and completion while valuations, restructurings and/or cash management
- Drive the Accounting / Financial management of investment holding companies choose, and preparation of financial statements for these investment companies based in HQ and offshore.
- Work with HQ global process owners to implement policies and frameworks and the development and implementation of strategic goals and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities and ideas that will value-add to the business and develop enablers to support the private markets growing complexity and scale.
- Establish and implement strong processes, financial controls and robust risk management and governance in all the finance areas relating to the investment support and monitoring.
- Develop a strong team of talent that will be strategic business partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance a Must; Masters or MBA a plus
- >8 - 10 years of experience in Accounting, Accounting Diligence, Technical Accounting, Transaction Advisory, Audit, Valuations, Financials working within Private Equity Investments
- Strategic Mindset, Strong Communicator, Change Management, Process Improvement, Transformation
- Experienced in Structures ( I.E. Joint Ventures, Wholly Owned, SPVs, and Co-Invest)
Our client is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary and discretionary performance bonus, including benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $180,000-230,000 plus bonus.
