Long/Short Credit Analyst – VP Level+

Location: New York

Client: Leading Global Credit Hedge Fund

We are currently partnering with a prestigious global credit hedge fund to support the expansion of their high-performing team in New York. They are seeking a talented and driven Long/Short (L/S) Credit Analyst at the VP-level upwards .

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing investment grade (IG), crossover, and liquid high yield/stressed credit opportunities across both U.S. and European markets , with a focus on bonds, CDS and related equities. You will report directly to senior analysts and portfolio managers, contributing to investment decisions in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Long/Short credit investing role
• Strong track record of analyzing credit from IG through to stressed/event-driven spectrum
• Presenting investment and trading ideas to the senior portfolio management team
• Assisting with portfolio management and construction, trading, etc.
• Familiarity with both U.S. and European credit markets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing investment team
