Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in New York City, NY, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level Associate to join its dynamic Real Estate practice. This opportunity offers hands-on experience in complex real estate transactions and provides exposure to a wide range of asset classes and client types, from institutional investors to private developers. Duties:

• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures

• Draft and negotiate documents for real estate financings, leases, and development agreements

• Support senior attorneys in the structuring and execution of multifaceted real estate deals

• Conduct due diligence and manage closings for property transactions

• Engage directly with clients and third parties on deal terms and timelines

• Collaborate across departments to resolve transaction-related issues

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of focused experience in real estate law at a reputable law firm

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage key components of transactions

• Practical knowledge of real estate finance, leasing, development, and joint ventures

• Strong drafting, organizational, and client communication skills

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and perform under time-sensitive conditions

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Proficient in transaction management and real estate due diligence

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities

• High attention to detail and legal precision

• Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously
