Private Equity Associate

The Sustainable Partnership is working with a leading Private Equity firm looking to grow its high-performing Houston team.

This group has established itself as one of the prominent private capital investors in the global power and energy sector.

The team had a successful fundraising year in 2024 and is now looking to deploy capital in various power and energy technologies including, (but not limited to) renewable and traditional power generation, low-carbon molecules, and sustainable fuels.

They're looking for a Year One Associate to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Support investments across multiple technologies.
• Assist senior team members throughout the transaction life-cycle, with emphasis on diligence and structuring.
• Ownership of all models.
• Develop confidential memoranda, management presentations, and other critical materials.
• Conduct market research and prepare materials to support origination.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking.
• Experience with M&A, Structured Finance, Tax Equity, Or Capital Markets.
• Renewable or Traditional Power experience is essential .
• Ability to run complex models.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a relevant field.
• MBA preferred.
