Payroll Tax Consultant

StevenDouglas is partnering with a client in Houston in their search for an Interim Payroll Tax Consultant . This is a remote based opportunity but the position may need to go into the office on occasion. The expected duration is at least 2 months, with potential it could extend.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all payroll tax requirements at the federal, state, and local levels
• Register for new state and local tax jurisdictions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Payroll Tax, along with experience handling the registration process for new states and jurisdictions
• ADP WFN required
