Annunciation Orthodox School (AOS) seeks an experienced, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Annual Fund Manager to join the AOS Advancement Department. The Annual Fund Manager is primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase donor engagement, retention, and philanthropic support through the AOS Annual Fund. Specific responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating the Annual Fund, including individual solicitations, managing parent volunteers, direct mail, text campaigns, social media, data record keeping, and donor recognition. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a passion for relationship-building, and experience in fundraising and stewardship.

Start Date: ASAP/Flexible
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, in addition to evenings and weekends as required for meetings or events.
Responsibilities:
Annual Fund
- Support the goals of the Advancement Office by coordinating solicitations, communications, and events that maximize giving and participation among current families, alumni, former parents, grandparents, trustees, faculty, staff, and friends of AOS.
- Assist in implementing a comprehensive strategy to meet annual fundraising goals. Develop an understanding of giving patterns among constituencies and segment donors to create unique solicitation and engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with the Communications Office to create fundraising materials, including emails, brochures, social media campaigns, and acknowledgement letters.
- In collaboration with the Director of Advancement, produce the annual Impact Report, ensuring accuracy and compelling storytelling for maximum donor impact.
- Establish a comprehensive acknowledgment system at various giving levels to ensure personalization and timeliness of thank you receipts and letters.
- Build and manage a Parent Peer-to-Peer Volunteer Solicitation team.
- Work closely with the Database Manager to provide key reporting and leverage Raiser’s Edge for accurate reporting to track dollars raised, participation, retention, and stewardship.
Planned Giving
- Help build an effective planned giving program by identifying prospects and creating goals, timelines, and metrics to measure growth.
- Assist in the planning of special events to cultivate planned giving prospects and donors.
- Expand the Lithos Society planned giving program and celebrate these donors in school communications and through special events.
Gala
- Assist with all Gala-related events.
- Help coordinate all tracking and acknowledgement of donations and prepare reports related to the Gala.
- Assist with post-sales for Gala events (sign-ups, faculty offerings) and collections of outstanding gala accounts.
General
- Attend school events to build and deepen relationships with prospective and current donors.
- Support all other Advancement-related functions and events, including all Parent Teacher Club (PTC) and Dads Club activities.
- Work with the Database Manager to ensure all gifts are promptly acknowledged and departmental goals for stewardship are met.
- Contribute content to school publications and social media as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least three years of annual giving or related fundraising experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Raiser's Edge fundraising software is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, data analysis, project management, and volunteer management
- Practical knowledge of annual giving and experience in increasing donor participation
- Respect for the confidential nature of an individual’s financial resources and giving aspirations
- Tech savvy, Proficient with MS Office, mail merges, Google products, Raiser’s Edge, and Canva
