As one of the first U.S. commercial hires , you’ll play a leading role in expanding the company’s U.S. presence—right in the heart of Houston , where the vast majority of their U.S. client base operates.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role at the intersection of energy, trading, and AI. You'll work directly with the CRO and U.S. co-founder to land new accounts, scale existing ones, and help shape the commercial playbook of a category-defining product already in use by major oil trading desks—many of whom are now investors.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own new business and account growth across the U.S., focused on energy trading firms
- Manage complex, high-trust B2B sales cycles in a regulated and technical environment
- Turn warm introductions into revenue alongside the U.S. co-founder
- Be the local presence in Houston —building deep relationships with clients and partners
- Bring structure and strategy to a fast-moving, early-stage sales process
What Success Looks Like in Year 1
- Deliver $800k–$900k in annual revenue
- Land 15–30 user licenses , depending on pricing and client mix
- Build trust and shorten sales cycles through domain fluency and clear communication
- Represent the brand with clarity, pragmatism, and energy in every conversation
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in SaaS sales , ideally complex B2B, fintech, or technical software
- Strong track record in early-stage environments —you can operate independently
- Experience selling to front-office or trading personas a big plus
- Commercial instincts, strategic thinking, and high EQ
- Houston-based and ready to be client-facing
Bonus Points For
- Familiarity with trading workflows or terminology (e.g., forward curves, bids, paper vs. physical)
- Experience selling into commodities, energy markets, or trading tech
- Exposure to oil & gas or energy industry workflows (not essential—training provided)
Compensation
- Base salary: $120,000–$140,000
- OTE: Up to $280,000 (uncapped), with quarterly commission on top-line revenue
- Location: Houston, TX – hybrid/remote-first with regular in-person meetings and client-facing activity
