Job Description:
Starfish is growing! We are looking for a hyper-organized, proactive, extremely detailed Project Manager with 2-3 years of experience managing multiple work-streams, timelines, and deliverables, as well as building brand guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Traditional project and client management experience is expected and essential, but an emphasis will be placed on detailed project management experience.
This position provides access to executive-level clients as well as senior-level internal staff, including the firm’s President. It is a unique opportunity to take on a great deal of responsibility and grow professionally.
You will be the dedicated Project Manager for a top 10 Law Firm, running multiple creative workstreams and acting as the key liaison between the client and Starfish’s internal creative team. In this role, you will oversee the intake, execution, and delivery of ongoing creative assets, including brochures, ads, newsletters, and more.
This is a three-month contract role that has the potential to turn into a full-time position. There may be opportunities to work across other accounts in the long-term role. Starfish’s current clients span B2B, B2C, and non-profit segments, with goals that vary from global marketing campaigns to new product launches and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage 10–20 active creative projects at any given time, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving and delegating new projects
- Collaborate with the client’s Marketing and Business Development teams to understand asset needs, context, use cases, and more
- Work with the Client Controller to receive new project briefs, clarify details, confirm all specifications, and ask targeted questions to set the team up for success
- Prioritize and assign projects across the creative team based on capacity and skillset
- Brief internal designers and copywriters, ensuring all work stays within established brand guidelines
- Maintain a highly detailed master creative tracker and organize project folders on the shared Extranet
- Upload final files to the Client’s Extranet and ensure accurate documentation
- Monitor weekly project burn and regularly report updates to the account team
- Maintain a “Dos and Don’ts” feedback board in Figma to ensure consistency and learning across creative deliverables
- Continuously monitor for new opportunities to expand formal brand guidelines by consolidating and formalizing applications and rules throughout the ad hoc asset development process
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing multiple creative workstreams (10–20+ small-to-mid-sized projects simultaneously)
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Productive
- Strong proofreading capabilities, specifically CMOS
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented and proactive
- Highly responsive
- Available between the hours of 9a - 6p ET with flexibility to support into the evening when needed
- Familiarity with brand governance, specifically how to understand and apply brand guidelines
- Familiarity with creative asset production and common types of collateral (emails, print assets, digital assets, sales collateral)
- Proficiency with tools such as Figma, Excel/Google Sheets, and shared server environments
- Comfortable serving as both traffic manager and creative operations lead
- Ability to be client-facing and confidently speak about asset details to senior clients
