Production Manager

About the Job:

Pacific International is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturer to identify a hands-on Production Manager for a key production facility. This facility supports a critical division of a diversified industrial group, serving high-performance sectors like aerospace and medical device manufacturing.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead daily execution, mentor supervisors, and implement lean tools across the plant. In this newly created position, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity, improving safety and quality, and building a team culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a Safety-First mindset across all manufacturing operations
• Lead, coach, and develop shop floor teams with a focus on structured daily management
• Partner cross-functionally to implement projects and meet customer demand
• Manage production scheduling through ERP and ensure on-time delivery
• Develop and implement cost reduction, productivity, and quality improvement strategies
• Interpret data to monitor plant performance and lead problem-solving efforts

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
• Demonstrated success using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and production planning
• Experience in metal manufacturing and made-to-order environments preferred
• Exposure to ISO13485 and/or AS9100 quality systems is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering
