Restructuring Counsel

A leading Global Investment Firm is seeking a Restructuring Counsel to join its prestigious legal team. The Restructuring Counsel will act as a legal advisor and provide support for the Firm's investment activities involved in various restructurings and reorganizations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the primary advisor on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, identifying key risks and providing strategic legal guidance.
• Lead and manage the Firm's legal involvement in restructurings, bankruptcies, creditors' committees, and liability management transactions.
• Oversee outside counsel and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues related to reorganizations and post-restructuring interests.

Required Skills :

• J.D., Bar membership and 4+ years of expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring whether in-house or at a nationally recognized law firm.
• Experience with in-court and out-of-court restructurings and transactions involving multiple creditor constituencies.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive presence and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands and projects simultaneously.
