Human Resources Director

A family-owned brand with private equity investment is hiring an experienced Head of People & Culture to lead in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

You’ll partner with leadership to manage recruitment, employee relations, safety training, and build a strong people function supporting 200–300 employees in a production environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with deep manufacturing HR experience who values culture and family legacy.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a key partner to the executive team , reporting to the CEO and contributing to overall business strategy.
• Lead and develop a small HR team, including a recruiter and admin.
• Partner with plant leadership to support 200–300 employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Oversee and improve processes for employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, safety, and compliance .
• Help position the company for future growth.
• Shape a culture rooted in family, excellence, and continuous improvement —in a close-knit, values-driven environment.

About You

• Deep experience in manufacturing or production environments .
• Comfortable working on-site and collaborating closely with frontline and plant employees.
• Strong generalist HR experience , including recruitment, performance management, training, and workforce planning.
• Able to bring modern HR practices while respecting the legacy and culture of a family-run business.
• A builder—ready to elevate the HR function with thoughtfulness and rigor.
• Adept at navigating change and fostering trust within evolving leadership dynamics.
