Position Overview

Join our dynamic Business Law & Litigation team, serving clients as outside general counsel and trusted advocates. You will:

• Lead or support a wide range of commercial disputes (e.g., breach of contract, tortious interference, unfair competition, collections, insurance coverage)
• Work closely with business clients to anticipate legal risks, deliver proactive solutions, and represent them in negotiations, mediations, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cases from intake through resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, motions, and client summaries.
• Assist with or lead alternative dispute resolution proceedings (ADR).
• Provide strategic counseling on contract enforcement, risk management, business torts, and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering responsive communication and practical legal advice.
• Collaborate with cross-practice colleagues and mentor junior attorneys.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and admission to the New Jersey Bar.
• 3+ years of business or commercial litigation experience, ideally including courtroom or ADR exposure.
• Strong analytical, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Professional demeanor with a client-focused mindset and high ethical standards.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, meet deadlines, and uphold firm quality expectations.
