Job Description: Facilities & Validation Engineer
W2 6 month contract with potential for extension
Pay rate $40-$45/hr
Job Summary: The Facilities Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of building improvement projects. This role involves managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules.
Overall Responsibilities:
· Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction, maintenance, and renovation projects from inception to completion.
· Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
· Contractor Coordination: Work closely with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
· Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety walk inspections with contractors, ensure contractors adhere to changes required to meet safety standards and create required safety reports.
· Scheduling: Maintain project timelines, ensuring milestones are met and projects are completed on schedule.
· Quality: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of work and adherence to project specifications.
· Documentation: Maintain detailed records of project progress, budgets, and any changes to plans.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities engineering, Equipment Reliability, and/or project management.
· Experienced in Air Conditioning units, water coolers, heaters, heater pumps, hydraulics, humidity recording devices, temperature controllers, manufacturing equipment, etc.
· Experienced in manufacturing equipment maintenance. Experience/knowledge of IQ, OQ, and PQ is highly preferred.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills:
· Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP)
- Reduce facility equipment breakdown, and experience on ECN, and equipment upgrades.
