Product Test Technician (Thermography)

Akkodis is seeking a Product Test Technician (Thermography) for a 12-month contract to hire job with a manufacturing client in Everett, WA. As a Product Test Technician on our Thermography/FNET team, you will be responsible for functionally testing, troubleshooting to the component level, repairing or reworking, calibrating, inspecting, and certifying a variety of electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and completed instruments.

Rate Range: $34.00/hour to $37.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Product Test Technician responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Perform duties using standard test equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures, practices, and specifications.
• Conduct moderate to complex tasks on a wide variety of production line instruments that have failed previous testing or in-field use, based on business needs.
• Provide input for writing or modifying test procedures and assist in constructing new test fixtures from drawings and specifications.
• Collect, analyze, and report data on test processes, and act as a resource for related procedures and best practices.
• Complete work with a limited degree of supervision.
• Solve problems of moderate to high complexity.
• Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience by providing guidance and support.
• Knowledge of computer systems architecture, high-level programming languages, and computer bus structuring fundamentals is desirable.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in a range of analytical processes or procedures to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to work on semi-routine assignments while recognizing the need for occasional deviation from standard practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for regular information exchange.
