Fire Services Manager – Industrial Operations
Location: SE Houston, TX area (Travel Required)
About the Opportunity:
We’re hiring a Fire Services Manager to lead a key division of a growing industrial safety organization. This is a progressive leadership role with strong growth potential—ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence, team development, and technical fire safety solutions. You’ll manage a highly specialized team and oversee critical field service operations related to fire protection and life safety systems across a variety of industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations for fire protection services including inspection, service, and repair of fire extinguishers, foam systems, suppression systems, gas and flame detection, and other safety equipment.
- Drive safety-first culture while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and internal protocols across all operational procedures.
- Manage inventory, fleet readiness, and job site execution to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Coach and develop field technicians and supervisors; oversee hiring, performance reviews, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and project teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Implement short- and long-term strategic goals for departmental growth, staffing needs, and equipment planning.
- Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure readiness of all vehicles and tools.
- Review budgets, forecast operational needs, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and cost control.
Ideal Background:
- 5+ years of field experience in fire protection, industrial safety, petrochemical, or oil & gas environments.
- At least 1 year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
- Familiarity with portable and fixed fire suppression systems and detection equipment.
- NICET II certification (or willingness to obtain) and State Fire Marshal licensing highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general business software; ability to quickly learn new platforms.
