Construction Cost Estimator

An internationally manufacturer of water systems is expanding its U.S. operations and seeking a talented professional to join its dynamic and growing small team.

As a Cost Estimator , you will play a key role in our mechanical project operations. You will independently prepare and evaluate detailed construction cost estimates while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

Your insights will drive smarter decision-making and contribute directly to the success of our innovative, high-precision engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze construction project cost estimates
• Conduct project budgeting, subcontractor and vendor evaluation, and cost benchmarking
• Perform risk assessments and advise on cost-effective solutions
• Provide detailed cost reports and strategic recommendations to senior management
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Maintain discretion and apply sound judgment in high-stakes project scenarios

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in cost estimation within the construction industry
• Hands-on experience as a cost estimator for factory equipment is required.
• Experience with UPW (Ultrapure Water) system construction projects is highly preferred , especially in cost estimation roles.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to guide decisions
• Proven ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
