A highly respected Commercial General Contractor in Houston is seeking a seasoned Senior Superintendent to lead the successful delivery of complex ground-up commercial projects across the Houston area. With a strong reputation in automotive, warehouse, office, and medical facility construction, this contractor is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

This is a key leadership role requiring someone with a proven track record delivering $25M+ ground-up projects, excellent field management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining project momentum from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full on-site project leadership from groundbreaking through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Create and manage project schedules, work plans, and sequencing in coordination with the Project Manager
• Supervise all field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications
• Enforce company safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe working environment
• Coordinate daily and weekly subcontractor meetings to monitor progress, identify issues, and drive resolutions
• Ensure quality control by reviewing plans, specifications, and workmanship, and performing regular inspections
• Oversee site logistics, deliveries, equipment management, and material storage
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and owners to ensure project design and expectations are met
• Maintain detailed daily field reports, safety logs, progress photos, and documentation
• Identify and resolve field conflicts or delays proactively to minimize schedule impact
• Assist in budget control by monitoring labor and material costs, preventing waste, and managing change orders
• Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents or field engineers, building bench strength within the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects
• Successful delivery of projects $25M+ in size across automotive, warehouse, medical, or office sectors
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building systems
• Proven leadership in managing complex construction sites, subcontractors, and schedules
• Demonstrated tenure and stability with previous employers
