This is a high-growth, independent company in the power generation services sector , specializing in the repair and overhaul of industrial gas turbines for some of the world’s most demanding operators. - Scaled significantly over the past 5+ years through targeted acquisitions and facility expansions.
- Built out advanced in-house capabilities across metallurgy, fuel systems, coatings, and additive manufacturing .
- Consolidated engineering, production, and corporate functions into a newly upgraded technical HQ and shop campus , dramatically increasing output efficiency and supporting the repair of GE, Siemens, and Westinghouse-class heavy-duty gas turbines (HDGTs) .
This group is known for OEM-level technical excellence with independent flexibility , serving a national and international customer base that includes names like Chevron, Shell, NRG, and Calpine .
What You’ll Own
- Lead and evolve the Engineering & Technology function , shaping technical strategy and shop repair methods for HDGT platforms (GE, Siemens, Westinghouse).
- Build a high-performance culture , guiding engineers and elevating cross-team innovation.
- Champion advanced repair technologies: NDT, coatings, digital inspection , and additive manufacturing .
- Drive full lifecycle: risk management, technical oversight, budgeting, proposals, oversight of engineering initiatives.
- Serve as bridge between field, operations, sales, QA, and executive leadership—ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Embed best practices to reduce cycle time and raise repair quality, while influencing talent development and structural engineering growth.
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years in power generation / O&G sectors , with at least 5 years as an engineering leader .
- Deep technical experience in heavy-duty gas turbines (HDGT) —component repair, metallurgical integrity, coatings, NDT, reverse engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership of high-impact, multidisciplinary engineering teams in industrial repair or OEM environments.
- Strong business acumen —budgeting, stakeholder influence, and collaboration across core functions.
- Passion for process optimization , emerging tech in shop environments, and fostering high-performance teams aligned to strategic business objectives.
