Computer Aided Design Designer

We're Hiring: NX CAD Designer in North Austin! Anchor Quest is partnering with an innovative energy-tech company that is transforming the way electricity is generated and utilized. You’ll work across cross-functional engineering teams to bring complex engine components and systems to life using Siemens NX and additive manufacturing tools.

What You’ll Do:

• Create & detail parts, modules, and assemblies (2D/3D) for manufacturing, analysis, tooling, and inspection.
• Lead technical initiatives—taking ownership of design projects through to delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain to define dimensional constraints and ensure manufacturability.
• Maintain CAD models within engine assemblies and support ongoing updates.
• Drive continuous improvement ideas.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in CAD or product definition OR Associate’s in drafting + relevant experience.
• Proficient in Siemens NX & Teamcenter, including GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Hands‑on experience with DMLM additive manufacturing (e.g. EOSPRINT, Concept Laser).
• Strong communication, project follow‑through, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have:

• NX Surfacing or mechanical routing exposure.
