Overview
Robinson Consulting Group (RCG) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-driven PEO Management Support Specialist to join our pipeline in preparation for an upcoming award. This position is for the self-starter who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys bringing clarity, structure, and excellence to complex leadership operations. You’ll support the NGA Mapping, Charting, & Geodesy (MC&G) PEO by managing internal operations, driving communication, and ensuring the PEO runs like a well-oiled machine. This is a critical, customer-facing role designed for someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas to the table, and ensures Senior Leadership remains focused, effective, and—yes—awesome. This position is a Pipeline Position – Contingent Upon Award.
About the Role
The role involves managing internal MC&G PEO processes, facilitating training, and overseeing communication and information management. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in supporting the leadership team and ensuring the smooth operation of various tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal MC&G PEO processes and documentation procedures
- Coordinate manpower, seating, and resource needs across all MC&G branches/projects
- Serve as the MC&G PEO training coordinator and facilitator
- Provide facilitation for technical exchanges, program reviews, and senior meetings
- Act as the Corporate Communications & Information Manager for MC&G PEO
- Lead the MC&G Tasker process, including task posting, tracking, and consolidation
- Maintain MC&G Records and Information Oversight processes
- Manage senior leadership calendars, emails, and distribution lists
- Support civil service and military award nominations and tracking
- Assist with leadership actions, weekly activity reporting (WAR), and strategic communications
- Maintain and manage organizational charts, billet structures, and the corporate information compendium
- Drive excellence in SharePoint and file management architecture
Example Tasks:
- Develop and manage a PEO training registry and identify training opportunities
- Arrange and facilitate technical exchanges, senior MC&G PEO staff coordination meetings, program reviews, and other MC&G PEO program meetings on behalf of MC&G leadership.
- Optimize and maintain MC&G PEO communications and internal directives
- Manage SharePoint and shared folders as corporate knowledge repositories
- Post and consolidate responses for internal/external taskers
- Coordinate award submissions from start to finish, including documentation and tracking
- Assist in maintaining compliance with records management policies
- Identifying and documenting Weekly Activity Report (WAR) inputs.
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 2+ years supporting two or more DoD or IC directorates , with experience navigating leadership and operational structures
- 1+ year experience managing manpower and resourcing for large organizations ($100M+ or 100+ personnel)
- 1+ year experience managing internal processes (taskers, communications, etc.) and working with external-facing processes (manpower, training)
- 1+ year experience using collaboration technologies (SharePoint, shared drives, Outlook calendars & distros)
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MC&G mission areas , including:
- Earth modeling and sciences (e.g., WGS-84, EGM, WMM, 3D Elevation Mapping)
- Safety of navigation (aeronautical/maritime/land)
- Geographic Names, Human Geography, and Content Dissemination
