Manager, Commercial Contracts (6-Month Temporary Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET (occasional additional hours as needed)

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Commercial Contracts for a 6-month temporary engagement to lead our Commercial Contracts Team. This interim role requires a skilled contracts professional who can negotiate, draft, and manage commercial agreements —both using client's standard templates and third-party contracts.
This position leads a team of three (2 Contract Specialists and 1 Contracts Manager) and ensures overall effectiveness and alignment of contract operations with client policies, corporate goals, and customer expectations.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on day-to-day contract operations , while also ensuring continuity and compliance during this interim period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of contract professionals, guide performance, development, and succession planning.
- Define strategic and financial plans for the department; align goals with business objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison for commercial customer relationships and contract negotiations.
- Administer contract templates, negotiate terms, and assess risk across business units.
- Develop and implement contract policies, workflow improvements, and training programs.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/Process Optimization).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA or JD preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years in corporate contracts or document management
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in healthcare and sales contracting preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat (Professional preferred)
- Experience with cloud-based contract management systems (supply side)
- Tools: Jira, Salesforce, CCR, Power BI, nSAP
Certifications (Preferred):
- White Belt Lean Certification or equivalent
