Job Summary
As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll play a vital role in finding and hiring talented individuals to join our clients growing team. You'll manage the full recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every candidate. This role is key to supporting the company’s mission by bringing in dedicated professionals ready to make a significant community impact by overseeing their early career recruitment efforts and managing two team members.
What You'll Do
- University Recruitment: Design and lead the company’s campus recruitment strategy, including building relationships with 30+ institutions.
- Recruitment Coordination & Execution: Manage all aspects of the full recruitment lifecycle , from initial job posting to offer acceptance.
- High-Volume Recruiting: Build and execute a proactive sourcing and candidate generation strategy to meet annual hiring targets of 300+ roles, with the capacity to scale.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor two team members , providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills.
- Operations Team Partnership: Partner with Operations and Growth team to forecast short- and long-term staffing needs and assess market-by-market pipeline health.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Employer Branding Support: Assist in promoting employer brand helping build relationships with external organizations to create a strong talent pipeline.
- ATS Management & Reporting: Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), to manage candidate pipelines, track key recruitment metrics, and regularly report progress and insights to senior leadership.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Stay informed about employment laws (federal and state) and recruitment best practices.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with experience managing the full recruitment cycle.
- Experience with early career recruitment or campus recruiting is a plus.
- Proven ability to successfully handle high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset while keeping on top of industry trends in the campus recruitment sector.
- Fluid at building relationships and partnering with cross functional team members
- Experience managing or mentoring a team member is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to source candidates through various channels.
- Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent project planning skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices.
Benefits & Perks
- PTO policy includes 15 days (vacation and sick time) and 9 company holidays. A computer will be provided, and travel expenses will be reimbursed if pre-approved.
- Open to a remote setup, though travel will be required for college visits and occasional leadership meetings. Ideally this person is based in the Southeast.
- We anticipate travel to college and universities in the fall and spring—likely no more than 10-15 days per season.
