Materials & Supply Planning Manager – Mandarin Required

As a Material and Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations by efficiently managing materials and production planning processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of materials, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to meet production and customer demand while minimizing costs and disruptions. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Capacity management, material management, warehouse management, control, and optimization.
• Evaluate existing production capacity, materials, warehousing, logistics, and so on, based on sales plans and business orders resource management, coordinating the allocation of personnel and machinery and equipment in various departments.
• Carry out timely follow up output and sales shipment arrangements for the shipment of finished products from each base, reduce the delivery cycle, reduce the backlog of inventory, improve inventory turnover.
• Familiar with the procurement cycle and dosage of each material, formulate a reasonable and accurate material demand plan, and handle the sluggish materials in a timely manner control and digestion work.
• Storage resource demand planning, personnel safety management, storage safety of raw materials, auxiliary materials, semi-finished products, and finished products management, scheduling logistics and transportation safety management.
• Warehousing account management, regular inspection of the lower level to ensure the consistency of materials and account cards. Coordinate the punctuality of material transportation at each base Supervise and coordinate delivery plans to meet customer delivery needs.

Educational Requirements:

• Bilingual in Mandarin/English is highly preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (such as APICS certification) can be advantageous.
• At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in materials management, inventory control, and production planning within a manufacturing or similar industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a team, overseeing procurement, inventory optimization, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to manage inventory levels, track materials, and plan production schedules.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, forecast demand, and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels and production schedules.
• Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles, including inventory control methodologies, demand forecasting, supplier management, and logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and effectively manage relationships.
• Leadership qualities to guide and motivate a team, set clear objectives, and drive performance in achieving production and inventory targets.
• Proven ability to identify issues within material control and production planning, devise solutions, and make timely decisions to optimize processes and mitigate risks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to inventory management, safety standards, and quality control within the industry.
• A commitment to continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness in material control and production planning processes.
