Maintenance Mechanic

We are partnering with a great company in Glastonbury , CT to find a skilled Maintenance Mechanic ! This is a fulltime, direct hire, dayshift position with a full benefits package!

Hours: 5 am - 1:30 pm

Pay range: $25-34 hour

Duties

• You will work on the plant facility, electrical, mechanical and electronic repairs of machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct repairs as necessary.
• Analyze schematics to understand electrical systems and high voltage components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Skills

• 5 years’ experience industrial machine maintenance
• Experience in Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, cranes, etc.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and basic wiring (480 V through control voltage, basic PLC knowledge, relays, starters etc.)
• Proficiency in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems
