Vice President of Engineering

VP of Engineering Opportunity - Albany, NY (Hybrid)

I have an exciting opportunity with an innovative global organization looking to hire a Vice President of Engineering and would love to discuss! This is a direct hire/permanent position, base salary up to $225k, plus comprehensive benefits package, equity potential, etc.

Position is required to be onsite in the Albany, NY area 2x per week, so local candidates only, or those with interest in relocating/familiar with the geographical area, please.

Must be US Citizen or current Green Card holder.

This role will be responsible for leading a global engineering team, with an emphasis on strategic planning, innovation, cloud and infrastructure operational management, ML & AI Integrations, Engineering development processes, and establishing and fostering a collaborative work environment run on best practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years at VP/Senior Leadership role within a global SaaS environment
• 10+ years of engineering experience - full stack development, cloud platforms and architecture/optimization, AI/ML integration, enterprise security, microservices, and DevSecOps
• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills; proven experience working with global teams in B2B SaaS environment
• Knowledge of ISO27001, SOC2 compliance and regulatory requirements is preferred
