Director of Distribution and Warehousing

Korn Ferry has partnered with a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury home textiles to identify a Director of Distribution and Warehousing. The role will be extremely visible, reporting directly to the Company President. The role will have oversight over the company’s entire order-to-cash experience including: Order Intake, Validation, Release, and post-shipment service. Full Warehouse, Distribution, Freight/Vendor Negotiations and Continuous Improvement initiatives will also fall under the Director’s purview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of distribution and warehousing operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain and inventory management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in logistics, distribution, and warehousing practices.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement initiatives to meet and exceed operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety within the workplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in distribution and warehousing management, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and inventory management systems.
