Banking Data Support Specialist

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Support Specialist opening for our client in Williamsville, NY.

Location: Williamsville, NY (hybrid-onsite 3 days, remote 2 days)

Duration: 4 month+ contract with ability to go longer term

Hourly Rate : $20.00/hr

Primary Responsibilities:

• Disburse 203(k) rehabilitation funds, construction draws, and escrow holdback funds
• Utilize Microsoft Access databases and servicing system for the disbursement of funds
• Set up and balance new loans for the 203(k) department
• Post all entries regarding disbursement of funds to the servicing system
• Communicate with impacted areas regarding exceptions as they arise
• Prepare and reconcile required daily and month-end reports
• Review requests to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and audit guidelines

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Work closely with internal and external customers, including mortgage customers, co-workers, Loan Production Office and Accounting staff, and vendors/contractors
• Train peers on new policies and procedures
• Present ideas to improve processes and workflow

Education and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or GED
• Two years of customer service or mortgage banking support experience
• Data Entry skills
• Proficient typing
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
