This influential role is ideal for a seasoned HR leader who excels at guiding multi-site teams, driving enterprise initiatives, and supporting a dynamic, industrial work environment.
Position Overview:
This is a high-impact role supporting fabrication facilities across multiple locations. While not a direct supervisory position, this role provides strategic guidance to site-level leadership. The Senior HR Generalist acts as a key liaison between local HR teams and enterprise leadership, promoting consistent practices, compliance, and employee engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership Support
- Align site-level HR practices with organizational goals and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Support HR leadership in executing people strategies and leading change management efforts.
Operational Oversight & Compliance
- Promote consistency in HR operations and ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Conduct or oversee sensitive investigations and assist with escalated employee relations issues.
- Support audits and risk assessments to ensure HR practices meet legal and organizational standards.
Culture & Engagement
- Assist with planning and executing site-level engagement programs and recognition strategies.
- Help shape internal communication strategies that drive transparency and strengthen workplace culture.
Workforce Planning & Performance
- Provide guidance on merit cycles, performance management processes, and succession planning.
- Analyze workforce needs and support long-term talent planning with site leadership.
Team Collaboration
- Build strong relationships across HR and operational teams, promoting shared learning and alignment.
- Provide guidance on policy interpretation, employee development, and problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Manufacturing or industrial industry experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now), employee relations, and HR compliance.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, and strategic planning skills.
