Adelphi is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide services at a facility in Troy, Virginia. The ideal candidate will deliver direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist, that will include; the implementation of treatment plans, administration of therapeutic exercises, and ongoing monitoring of patient progress.Job Quick Facts: Ref#: BD-353-60 Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Troy, Virginia Service Setting: Correctional Facility Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Shift schedule: Mon-Fri, Up to 40 hrs /wk Rate: $29-$36 (Pay rate will be determined by the facility based on qualifications and experience)Requirements: Graduate of APTA program accredited by CAPTE Active Virginia license CPR CertificationResponsibilities: Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. Provide direct patient care services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Assist the Physical Therapist in performing assessments and complex treatment procedures. Maintain documentation on all patients referred for services. Complete reports or assessments/evaluations and progress notes utilizing facility's approved documentation forms. Attend and participate in inter-disciplinary team meetings. Complete all tasks within established timelines provided by the facility. Comply with all state requirements and facility policies and procedures. Additional duties as assigned by facility.
