Gynecology Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Colorado Beginning July Assignment

Looking for APP support for their Gynecological Oncologist. APPs will be onsite 7am-5pm and will have a 1 hour unpaid lunch. Additionally the APP will take night call from the hospital and ED. They will consult on surgery, help with treatment decisions, and perform pelvic exams. The APP will assist the internal GYN oncologist with surgeries performed in the OR, and will round on GYN Onc patients in the hospital.

September 1-3, 10, 13-14, 17, 24, 27, 28
October 1, 8, 10-12, 15, 22, 25-26, 29
November 5, 12-19, 26
December 3, 10, 13-14, 17, 24-27, 31

Shift description: 7am-5pm with one hour unpaid lunch + night call - 5pm-7am (2.5 gratis)

Details/Requirements:
AANP/NCCPA, ANCC, or NCC certified
BLS (AHA)
DEA
Local, drive in candidates - Highly Preferred
Must have experience in Gynecology to be considered - Required
Oncology experience and one year prior experience in surgery - Highly Preferred
Clean MP/background - Required
Required Procedures: Pelvic exams, pap smears, simple biopsies, Surgical Assist, Consults in E.D, & other duties as assigned.
Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days standard, Emergency temp privs available.
Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Clinic, Trauma Level III
Days per month: 10
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: RN, LPN/LVN
Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage, recruitment challenges
Must be willing to round on patients, perform pelvic exams, take calls, triage problem visits, and manage in basket.
Adult & Geriatric Patients
4 beds, 4 census/admissions
Type of cases the APPs are going to be first assisting on: Laparoscopic surgery (hysterectomy, BSO, resection of masses, pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissections, Ex Laps).
Candidates must have experience with inpatient and clinic. They must be able to answer calls about floor patients, ED consults, rounds, as well as see problem visits in office and answer questions.
