Job Description
Coverage needs for this position are similar to PRN schedules and will only be needed through Aug 2025. Details10, 12, and 14 hour shifts during the day, all starts are 7a.Setting: InpatientTrauma Level IRequired Procedures: CRNA working under Anesthesiologist, Epidurals. Location 1 - Case types: Ortho, General surgery, Neurosurgery, and urologyLocation 2 - case types: Ortho, spine, and neuroEMR: EPICSupport Staff: NoneRequirementsNBCRNA Certified - RequiredActive CO License - Required for Emergency temp privs. Active ACLS, BLS - Required for credentialingCandidate Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - RequiredAll candidates must detail all dates they are able to fill through June 2025 - RequiredAll candidates must be willing to cover a minimum of 6-8 shifts per month beginning June ongoing - RequiredMinimum 2 years experience as CRNA including epidurals - Required to note at name clearAvailable ShiftsDates with a number in the (X) is the total number of shifts open for that day. Location 17a-5poJune 11 (3), 12, 16, 17 (2), 18, 19 (2), 30 (3)7a-7poJune 9 (2), 10, 16 (3), 17 (3), 18 (4), 19, 23 (2), 30 (2)Ongoing dates will be determined as schedules are released.Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:The case types seen are ortho, spine, general surgery, neurosurgery, and urology. Are there additional procedures required other than epidurals? What bedside procedures are required? SAH (Ortho, General Surgery, Neuro, and Urology), SAN (Ortho, General Surgery, OBGYN, and urology), no other procedures. What type of practice model? (There are three types; Medically Directed, Medically Supervised, and Independent) Supervisory Model with an anesthesiologist supervising up to 4 CRNAs at once. The physicians perform the blocks, so no other bedside procedures would be performed. We see there is weekend requirement, are they also 10, 12, and 14 hour shifts starting at 7am? or is there any call on the weekends? No call coverage is needed. Shifts are 10, 12, 14 hour shifts starting at 7a only. Weekend coverage is hourly only. No Call
