Job Duties

• Under broad direction, manage the US federal tax processes. This includes US related compliance, provision, planning, and audit support for domestic operations.
• Technical expertise in US income taxation of corporations including corporate reorganizations and international business operations
• Broad knowledge of accounting for income taxation under US GAAP (ASC 740)
• Experience in reviewing business operational activities and accounting records, identifying income tax issues, researching applicable tax law, reaching technical conclusions, and communicating conclusions verbally and in writing
• Experience in reviewing relevant tax forms including Forms 1120, 8865, 5471, 8858, and 1118
• Experience in defending income tax return positions under audit by the Internal Revenue Service
• Experience in developing relationships and working collaboratively across various departments and areas of the business
• Responsible for career development and coaching of personnel

Qualifications

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting or related field.
• 7 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and competency.
• Excellent personal communications skills and ability to work in team environment a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in taxation or accounting preferred
• Applicable professional certification preferred
• Experience using OneSource Income Tax and Tax Provision, Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, SAP, and Hyperion preferred
