EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or Allied Health Care/Nursing credentials preferred or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Preferred - Three-years prior clinical experience in a related neurodiagnostic field.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
Current Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) issued by ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation within one year of hire/transfer
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
Preferred:
Registration for Evoked Potential Technologists (R. EP T.) or Registration for Evoked Potential Technologists (R. EP T.)
SKILLS:
Thorough knowledge of medical terminology.

762003 Neurophysiology IOMExpectations:
Under limited supervision provides discernible leadership to Neurophysiologist staff regarding maintaining department quality expectations and customer sense. Monitors a wide variety of surgical procedures (including neurosurgery, otolaryngology, vascular and orthopedic cases) in which neural structures are at risk. In addition to monitoring services this position will be encouraged to participate in ongoing and original research aimed at improving the field of IOM and development of training modules for staff. This position may require flexibility of hours.EDUCATION:
