Solventum is seeking Automation Technician candidates to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN!

• Starting Pay: $35.40/hour + shift differential
• Shift: 3rd Shift (Sun - Thurs; 10:00pm - 6:30am)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Automation Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying facilities and production equipment.
• Applying fundamental technical skills to develop, improve, and implement manufacturing processes.
• Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and techniques for safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the plant.
• Analyzing data/performance of existing equipment to determine proper maintenance plans, design changes, and improvements.
• Maintaining equipment parts inventory.
• Working with supervisor to identify improvement opportunities.
• Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess an associate degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical field

OR

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED AND 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Ability to work 3rd Shift (Sun - Thurs; 10:00pm - 6:30am)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or short notice shift coverage as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand and/or sit frequently
