Job Description
As a Nut Tapper Operator, you will be responsible for operating tapping equipment, ensuring production is completed efficiently. This includes loading materials into machines, troubleshooting machine issues, and conducting quality checks on production parts. You will also be expected to manage routine maintenance and machine setup, such as changing taps and refilling oil, while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Responsibilities

• Operate up to four tapping machines during an 8-hour shift
• Transport and manage chips for oil recycling
• Clear jams, troubleshoot equipment and restart machines as needed
• Safely operate a crane to load bins into machine hoppers
• Perform quality checks using thread gages and go/no-go gages

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills and ability to follow work instructions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to oily conditions
• 90-day training period
• Experience with fasteners or tapping, and basic measurement tools is a plus
