Active Minnesota licensure Board certification AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS certifications Minimum 1-year Trauma Surgery/Critical Care experience or equivalent Travel Benefits
If you reside greater than 50 miles from the facility you are eligible for travel benefits.
You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Document patient care accurately and thoroughly Skills
Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialty Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient workload Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a healthcare team Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics) Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited program Licenses & Certifications
Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Minnesota National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners AANP ) Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Minnesota National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Experience
While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialty Additional Notes
